Only one week left - boo!  Not that I'm not looking forward to catching up with you all ;-)

I've been at the temple for the past few mornings, attending the Dalai Lama's teaching.  Tight security - no phones or cameras - so I'm afraid I have no pictures to share.  I managed to get a good seat with a direct view of His Holiness on his throne....and on his way out at the end of each session he walked through the crowd, really close, very exciting!  He has an amazing presence and the hushed reaction of the respectful crowd is something special to experience.

This afternoon I finished my wood carving class and here is the finished article....not sure I'm ready for a career change but with more practice, who knows.....

I've finished my volunteer teaching now so will be out and about taking some more pictures in my last few days here.  I've been to the tailors today to order my chupa - or Tibetan national dress - which will probably look ridiculous on me, in which case I'll be sure to post a photo for your entertainment :-)
